RateSetter publishes loan book data

CCR/loan book

We believe that transparency is the cornerstone of P2P lending, so as a first in Australian finance, we are opening up our loan book to the public.

Our loan book contains information about every loan originated through RateSetter since our launch up until 11 September 2015, when we passed $10 million in loans funded.

Open data allows investors and borrowers to make informed decisions and helps to ensure that platform operators like RateSetter are accountable for the quality of loans facilitated. Plus, we know financial markets and many of our customers thrive on data.

Data in the loan book includes loan amounts, interest rates, loan purpose and anonymised information related to borrowers such as age, gender, state/territory of residence, employment status, income bracket and homeownership status for our personal loans, car loans and green loans.
